About the role

What you'll do, and who we're looking for.

Social Science at RKA goes beyond the textbook — heritage visits, museum trips, model parliaments and map work are part of how we teach. We're looking for teachers who enjoy making the subject real.

What you'll do

  • Teach Social Science — History, Geography, Political Science and Economics — to Classes VI–X as per the CBSE curriculum.
  • Plan engaging, activity-based lessons using our smart classrooms, maps, timelines and project work.
  • Prepare students for periodic tests, half-yearly and annual examinations, and the Class X board examination.
  • Assess student progress, maintain records, and share clear feedback with students and parents.
  • Lead and support co-curricular activities such as heritage trips, exhibitions, debates and model UN / parliament sessions.
  • Take part in staff training, departmental planning and school events through the year.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics or a related discipline.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognised institution.
  • Confident English-medium teaching and strong written communication.
  • Comfort with digital classrooms and basic computer use.

Desirable

  • CTET or UPTET qualification.
  • Master's degree in a Social Science subject.
  • Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school.
