Admission Process

Admissions to different sections are given only after following an exhaustive procedure which basically carries a screening test followed by a succinct interview taken by the principal. Admission forms are available at the school office at a pre-disclosed date which parents need to fill out entirely and submit along with supporting documents. This is followed by a compulsory entrance test* that students need to clear to get admitted to the school. Here is a list of documents required during the admission process:

  • 1 Report card of the previous qualifying examination
  • 2 Transfer certificate from the previous school
  • 3 2 passport-size photographs
  • 4 Aadhar card/Birth certificate
  • 5 Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • 6 EWS certificate (if applicable)
  • 7 Military service book (for availing scholarship)

*Admissions in class Nursery do not mandate appearing for a written entrance test.

*Entrance test syllabus would cover the academic components of the previous class.

Following are the processes to take admission in different sections:

CLASS NURSERY

Students are given admission into the Montessori wing after they manage to pass the screening test successfully which consists of a brief interview taken by the principal. The questions asked in the interview are generally about the ordinary things which children love.

Kindly note the following :
The prospective student must have completed 3 years of age at the time of admission. No form will be issued or received after the due date.

CLASS KG TO VIII

In classes KG to VIII, students need to pass the screening test which consists of an entrance exam followed by a short interview taken by the principal. The entrance test carries questions from primary subjects (Maths, Hindi, English, Science, and S.st).

CLASS IX

The secondary section sees admission through a process that involves a screening test aimed at strengthening the holistic foundation of the students. As the student will appear on the boards for the first time, an entrance exam targeted at nurturing basic writing skills and ruling out the toxic culture of rote memorization is applied. An entrance test accompanied by a succinct interview is taken.

CLASS XI

Here the admission seekers need to bring out the best in them as the admissions here are the toughest to take as the school offers limited seats. Admissions to class 11 are taken according to the student's performance in the matriculation exams across different streams. A thorough evaluation is undertaken by the principal in order to determine the best possible stream for the student. Students' interest is also taken into consideration while contemplating admission.
